"I have been with State Farm for nearly 20 years, and I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of incompetence, dishonesty, and outright disrespect from them until moving to Georgia.

If you’re shopping for insurance, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

This office denied a legitimate hail-damage claim on our home after sending someone out to inspect it. We were told there was damage. Then, conveniently, they decided they needed to “come back out and reinspect.” After that second inspection, suddenly there was no damage at all. Funny how that works.

Even better, they completely ignored the roofer they themselves recommended, who came out, inspected the roof, and provided an estimate stating there was clearly hail damage. Apparently, when the evidence doesn’t support the answer State Farm wants, they just ignore the evidence.

Then there’s our vehicles.

Over the past two years, we had three claims: a deer hit one vehicle, someone hit another vehicle while it was PARKED, and then another deer hit us. None of these accidents were our fault. Not one.

So what does State Farm do after nearly 20 years of loyalty and premiums?

They decide they don’t want our business anymore and refuse to renew our auto policies.

And somehow, they managed to screw that up too.

After speaking with them, they failed to properly tell us that they were canceling the policies on two of our vehicles. I drove for almost an entire month believing I was insured when, according to them, I wasn’t.

That is not just unacceptable. That is dangerously incompetent.

The owner even called me afterward to apologize and acknowledge how terrible this situation was after years of faithful coverage. I appreciate the apology, but an apology doesn’t magically fix the fact that your company took our money for nearly two decades and then treated us like we were some kind of liability because of accidents that weren’t even our fault.

And when I asked about the decision, Clay conveniently blamed “the people above him.”

Of course.

Nobody actually wants to take responsibility. It’s always somebody else’s decision.

Maybe State Farm should spend a little less time throwing millions of dollars at celebrity Super Bowl commercials and a little more time figuring out how to take care of the customers who have been paying them for 20 years.

At this point, I wouldn’t recommend this office to my worst enemy.

20 years of loyalty apparently means absolutely nothing to State Farm.

Save yourself the headache, the runaround, and the ridiculousness.
